Is the GOLD course enough to prepare for the IELTS speaking test?

For most students, it will be enough. You will improve your exam technique and if you follow all the course, you will improve your overall spoken English by one band.

NOTE: 

There are two areas you need to prepare for the IELTS Speaking test. 

i) exam technique 

ii) improving your level of spoken English.

Regarding exam technique, you will get all the strategies you need to prepare for the IELTS Speaking test, including Part 1, 2 and 3 in the EXAM STRATEGY course. 

Regarding your level of spoken English, if you follow all the materials in the course in the SELF STUDY course and participate in the INTERACTIVE ADD-ONS (live lessons and Speaking Practice Rooms), you will be able to increase your English level by one band, so if you are a band 6 now, you can reach band 7. If you are a band 6.5 you can reach band 7.5.
